Engineering In cooperation with Crisenbery Engineering, Tamarack now has Engineering and Machining Services available at our location on the airport. Crisenbery Engineering, Inc. is a mechanical engineering consulting firm that has been providing individuals and companies both in and out of Alaska with a variety of design, analysis and fabrication services since 1996. Rick Crisenbery has built one experimental aircraft and is constructing a second so is familiar with aircraft construction and repair. He and his wife Pat have also been to the Stewarts Systems fabric training class and have conducted training in using the Stewarts Waterborne System in Fairbanks. Crisenbery Engineering has capabilities for design, analysis and fabrication or repair of mechanical systems and components. Design capabilities include both 2D and 3D modeling. The Machine and Prototype Shop provides turning, conventional and CNC milling, boring, surface grinding and welding capabilities, including both TIG and MIG. Crisenbery Engineering, Inc. has unique capabilities and experience for developing mechanical components from initial concept through fabrication in limited quantities. The development of such components typically includes multiple steps such as: detailed engineering analysis, proof-of-concept, failure modes and effects analysis, test program development and manufacturing support.
